Students from Leavenworth Senior High School in Leavenworth, Kansas, put on my 1o-minute play, Cowboy South of Houston. This is one of my early short one-acts from when I first moved from small town south Texas to New York City to pursue acting and writing, so I have a soft spot for this sweet, romantic comedy.
Cowboy South of Houston takes place in an avant-garde art gallery in Soho (New York City). A cowboy tourist wanders into the gallery and gets more than he bargained for when he meets up with a feisty Soho native.
