Denby Swanson, Stephen Bittrich and David Marantz &#8212; &#8220;I AM MY OWN SANTA&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There will be a reading of the new play, <strong><em>I Am My Own Santa<\/em><\/strong>, that I was involved in co-writing with C. Denby Swanson and Dave Marantz. &nbsp;This will be in Austin at Hyde Park Theatre at 511 West 43rd Street on Sunday, June 18th at 7 PM.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first time that the three of us will be physically together to work on the play, thanks to a grant from Scriptworks. &nbsp;Previously we worked by Skype, and there was a public reading last year put up by the <a href=\"http:\/\/drillingcompany.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Drilling Company<\/a> (which Colin and I were not able to attend).<\/p>\n<p>Looking forward to the reading and working on this play! &nbsp;Dave arrives Wednesday, and we&#8217;ll have several days to meet and go over the text before the public reading. &nbsp;Please come if you are in Austin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There will be a reading of the new play, I Am My Own Santa, that I was involved in co-writing with C.
